Program Director, Professor of Entrepreneurship
Dr. Muhammad Azam Roomi is a passionate entrepreneurship ‘activator’ and has successfully conceptualized, designed, and conducted executive and continuing programs in more than fifty countries worldwide. He served as the Director of the Executive MBA program and MSc Management and Entrepreneurship program at the Cranfield School of Management, UK. He also held a principal lectureship at the University of Bedfordshire, where he played a major role in developing the business school’s graduate program portfolio. He was also instrumental in setting up the research agenda for the Centre for Women’s Enterprise, with a focus on the growth and development of women-owned enterprises in the UK and other Asian and Islamic countries.
His teaching and research focus on entrepreneurial leadership, growth of entrepreneurial ventures, women’s entrepreneurship development especially in the context of Muslim countries, family business management, and Islamic entrepreneurship.

Dr. Larissa von Alberti-Alhtaybat holds an MSc degree (distinction) in Accounting & Finance and Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Southampton, UK, which was undertaken with scholarships from the University of Southampton and the Economic and Social Science Research Council (ESRC), UK. Following her postgraduate education, she undertook a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Southampton, which was also funded by the ESRC. Her focal point was strategic management accounting and performance management at Higher Education institutions, which she has continued to pursue both in research and administrative terms.

Assistant Professor of Marketing
Dr. Aseel Al Ghamdi is an assistant professor of marketing and sports marketing and management researcher at Prince Mohammad Bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship – MBSC. He teaches various marketing courses including principles of marketing, brand strategy, international marketing, marketing management and integrated marketing communications for the EMBA and MiM programs as well as Executive Education.
He is also serving as an international research fellow at the International Institute of Sports Business and Leadership – IISBL at the University of Guelph, Canada. He conducts various sports marketing and management research projects for topics such as sports sponsorship, on-field performance, sports marketing revenue generation, sports resources and advantage, sports management and integrated marketing communications. He also served as the editor and program coordinator for the sports management division at the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC) Conference between 2013-2015 and presented his research at various global conferences such as Marketing Science and ASAC. Previously he was the Vice Dean of Academic Affairs and the Head of Advertising Management Department at Jeddah College of Advertising – JCA between 2015-2018 at the University of Business and Technology - UBT.
Dr. Al Ghamdi is an invited guest speaker at the Saudi Sports Hub-Saudi Tech Meet Up and serving as a judge for the Pioneer Marketing Award by Saudi Marketing Association. He also served as the editor and program coordinator for the sports management division at the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC) Conference between 2013-2015.
Dr. Aseel Al Ghamdi was nominated for D.F. Forester Medal (Best Ph.D. Thesis) at the University of Guelph, Canada, in the 2016-2017 academic year and achieved a Paper of Merit Award from the Management Education Division at Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC) Conference in Summer 2015. He was also awarded various excellency awards from the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Canada between 2008-2016.
