
Ata'a is a Social Entrepreneurship incubator program held in collaboration with King Khalid Foundation. It aims to attract entrepreneurs with ideas for social enterprises and to turn those ideas into viable social business ready to enter the market within the 6-month incubation period.
Social enterprises (SEs) leverage commercial methods to address social needs in innovative and financially sustainable ways.
The virtual incubation program will begin with an intensive 8 week bootcamp delivering high quality training and mentorship to social entrepreneurs.
Once the bootcamp is completed, entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to pitch in front of a panel of judges for a chance to move to the second part of the incubation program and receive funding.

To increase the number of social enterprises in Saudi Arabia by:
Incubating social enterprises that are in the ideation phase and to prepare them to enter the market as registered enterprises before completing the program.
Incubating traditional and non-profit organizations within their first year of operation and assisting them to switch their business model into a social enterprise model.
We are looking for social enterprises that focus on sustainable development in the following areas:
Environmental Issues and Solutions
Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation
Improving the Quality of Life
Preserving and Promoting Saudi Heritage
Societal Development
Individuals and teams of up to 3 people (preference given to teams)
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
Individuals and team of up to 3 members who have a social enterprise idea that addresses one of the sustainable development priority areas outlined above
Individuals and teams of up to 3 members who want to transform their traditional or non-profit organization to a social enterprise while maintaining its focus on addressing a social need.
Individual applicants must be Saudi nationals, and within teams, at least one member must be a Saudi national
Applicants must be willing to register their social enterprise officially in Saudi Arabia before completing the incubation program
